Harbor Presbyterian
Logo and visual branding for a new church.
Through the design and review process with the pastor and other church leaders, we identified that Harbor’s community and specific ministry focus were of primary importance for its visual brand communication. With a clear vision to work within, I was able to deliver a logo and a simple branding system that has served Harbor’s needs well over the years.

Innovation Team
A design system consisting of titles, icon sets, and presentation templates for a team (Cru - internal) with broad communication needs.
The team’s various categories, titles, labels and segments required unifying design and elements that were both unique to the team and also non-competitive with Cru’s visual brand. The result consists of a treatment of the Innovation name and simple elements to be displayed within the Cru brand color palette. These elements as well as custom icons, were delivered with proper usage guidelines to remain in its narrow criteria.

Brief Nonprofit
A Visual Rebranding Proposal for Blue Ridge Innovation & Entrepreneurship Foundation. Brief provides STEM education opportunities to under-served kids.
This personal initiative project defines the need for change and proposes a visual system that better serves the established brand. Though inconsistent line weights, alignments and other issues found in brief’s logo could simply be corrected, the design overall falls short in effectiveness and creativity. Beyond technical execution, a re-thinking of color, elements, imagery and usage are necessary to best represent brief’s message and community impact among its stakeholders, staff, and audience.
